The UNI FUSE team is very glad to announce that Nancy Wallace, a pre-sessional academic manager from Middlesex University in London (MU), was given an ERASMUS+ staff mobility grant and spent the first week of May 2016 at UNI given classes to students at the Department of English, Faculty of Philosophy.

Ms. Wallace's field of expertise is teaching English for academic purposes to international students. This involves improving students’ general level of English, developing the specific academic language and study skills required for study at a UK university, familiarizing students with UK academic culture and preparing them for an independent learning approach predominant in British Higher Education.

This represents a continuation of already excellent partnership between MU and several RS HEI partners in the FUSE project, within which the members of both academic and administrative RS HEI staff were trained at MDX in February 2016 (http://fuse.ni.ac.rs/news/180-middlesex-university-erasmus-staff-mobility-scholarships).

The Inter-institutional Agreements between MU and several RS HEIs partners within Erasmus+ were made within the FUSE project itself and their successful implementation serves as a guarantee of the sustainability of project results, especially in the area dealt with in WP1 - developing administrative and legal conditions for improved university support services and procedures, in this case in the area of individual staff and student mobility.
